Places to visit is a new series that has been added to the blog where you’ll find cool places to spend time, either with your loved ones or alone. This includes, restaurants, new places in town, where to buy things for less, etc. For now, it’ll be strictly in Port Harcourt, Nigeria since I’m currently based here but as we progress (yes, we. Me and you), other cities will be included and featured on the blog.

However, today’s post is about one of my favorite restaurants in Port Harcourt. I decided to eat something outside the norm, (fried rice and gizzards) something I’ve never had at this particular place; Okra soup and eba.

This is one of my favorite African dish and I’ve been craving it since December but have been too lazy to prepare it. Fast forward to when I went to place an order, I sighted it and bam!

I ordered Okra soup, crocker fish and eba while bae ordered fried rice and gizzards with two bottles of water which totaled 4,100 Naira.

One thing that always keeps me going back to Dacóta is the delicious food and customer service.

There’s never been a time I visited and leave unsatisfied.

  1. My favourite African dish is amala and egusi. Gizzard is my new favorite thing to eat. And, this spot looks good – I might visit there after seeing Black Panther on Thursday 💃🏾 💃🏾 💃🏾
